For clients under 18, relevant information may be shared with parents/guardians while maintaining appropriate confidentiality for the minor client.

This includes encrypted storage systems, secure communication channels, and strict internal access controls. 

 

5. Data Retention and Storage 

Client records, including notes and personal information, are stored securely in compliance with data protection laws and professional standards. 

• For adult clients, records are retained for eight (8) years from the date of the last session, after which they are securely destroyed. 

• For clients under the age of 18 at the time of therapy, records are kept until the client’s 26th birthday, and then securely destroyed. 

Access to client records is strictly limited to the Therapist, and appropriate safeguards are maintained to ensure confidentiality and protection from unauthorized access. 

 

6. Third Parties 

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. 
We may use trusted third-party service providers (e.g., secure payment processors, appointment scheduling platforms) solely to assist in delivering our services, and they are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

You have the right to: 

• Request access to your personal information 

• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data 

• Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements) 

• Withdraw your consent at any time for future data processing
